I am beginning a Rosary thread for our Holy Father and for our Church. Along with each of our submissions perhaps add an intention..


Examples:

"For our Holy Fathers good health"
"For our Holy Father's safety"
"For our Holy Father to be strengthened"
'For our Holy Father to stand firm in truth"
"For our priests, that they may be instruments of God's peace"
"For good vocations"

and so on.......

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen...
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth..
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord
who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried
He descended to the dead..
on the third day rose again
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father
He will come again to judge the living and the dead,.

I believe in the Holy Spirit
the Holy Catholic Church
the Communion of Saints
the forgiveness of sins
the resurrection of the body
and the life everlasting, Amen...

First Joyful Mystery
The Annunciation

In the first Joyful Mystery, the Annunciation, the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will bear Jesus, the son of God. We should be thankful to God to come among us as a man to save us from sin. We should also pray to Mary that we will have the same faithful obedience that she did in heeding God’s call without question.
