Thank you so much for posting this. Please, everyone, read it, print it, pass it on any way you can. I could not get thru it without tears. I could only think, "Jesus, is my soul worth this much ? " Thank you Jesus, for the grace You give us from Your Holy Cross. ThANK YOU for allowing us to be present with you at Calvary, every time we celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Thank you Lord.

...I saw the shroud exhibition, in New London, CT, back in'78 (or so). Personally, I believe it "is" the burial cloth of Christ. And, as far as I'm concerned, the carbon dating test that said the cloth was from the 1500's has been shown to be false by many more recent tests, which put the cloth as being from the time of Christ. And, the many other tests give startling evidence of not only a man brutalized in the manner we have been taught that Jesus endured, but of a supernatural force which caused the image to occur on the shroud.

...and yes, Bob......what this man, Jesus, endured for us, is unfathomable.

Wow! Hearing about it broken down like that makes one unable to fathom how he was able to endure so much pain! How excrutiating that must have been!
