I do believe most people are keen to this type of spamming already but just as a precaution for everyone's safety I feel this needs to be mentioned. I received a message from a concerned forum member who was approached this morning via PM by new member Ellen45. This supposed new member Ellen, who no doubt is not a woman at all but rather part of an internet criminal organization that works out of the Ivory Coast and is PMing members here with intent to lure the unsuspecting into a financial trap.

I'm sure you've all received at one time or another that commonly sent spam mail where the woman cries about her husband dying and leaving her "x" millions dollars of which she can't touch without your help.. If you have received such a PM from Ellen please just delete it. I'm not sure how many members were PMed before I was notified but please know that the account Ellen45 is now banned.. But no, Ellen did not spam me. Those things are like weeds in a lawn and might not even have been a person at all but a program set up to find forums. Expect a rash of similar ones if that is the case.
