As I wrote early on in our forum Mission Statement,
I created Thy Daily Bread on the eve of September 6, 2009, as I packed suitcases to prepare for a 2nd pilgrimage to Medjugorje. I took a few minutes that evening to quickly create this forum in what I had originally believed would be a temporary one, in order to share my Medjugorje experiences with many Catholic faithful I had gained as Christ brothers and sisters who I had come to love so much through internet sharing over the past few years. Since the beginning this forum has continued to grow into something very unique and holds a special place in my heart.. I can only hope it does the same for each and everyone of you.. Thy Daily Bread has become a family and network of mutual friends, from my own perspective, both those who I have met through the internet and those I know here at home. Friends who I deeply cherish as Simons helping one another together to carry our crosses..
We now begin a countdown through the last month of our first year as a Catholic Internet Forum Community.. As part of celebrating the beautiful achievements God has given us through this forum He has so graciously blessed us with we will be having a Mass said for all our forum members and our families… (Date to be announced)
Also, as we get closer to September 6th watch the sticky threads in the Prayer Request section this week for a special 9 day Novena & Forum Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary which as a forum family we can come together on Mary’s Church celebrated birthday (Sept 8th) to consecrate our hearts to Her Most Immaculate Heart… While of course never mandatory nor obligatory it is our hopes that you will consider joining us in making this consecration… It’s a great way for our forum family to come together and pray together!
Let's celebrate this tremendous milestone we are quickly reaching by God's grace! If you have a suggestion you would like to make regarding celebrating our 1st year anniversary please feel free to share it, we're all in this together as a family!

May God bless each and every member of Thy Daily Bread Forum..
More on this to follow later....
