A great big welcome to all our new members! So glad to have you here as part of our forum family.. Thank you John. Not a very busy forum, is it! Chris+ Depends on how you look at it Chris. It's the old 'either the cups half empty or it's half full'.. This forum is not even a year old for one .. but also, anyone familiar with discussion forums in general realizes that during the summer months forums are generally not as active because people are outdoors and whatnot.. Also, it's not always the amount that is being said as much as the quality of what's being said...That being said, this forum is what it is no matter how busy it is, and in my book it's a gathering of some really awesome souls sharing in faith together... To me it doesn't matter if that means 1000 posts or 10 posts..

I wasn't complaining by the way, just making an observation. The only real surprise, for me, is the devotion here to Medjugore, which seems so obvious. Not that this is a bad thing, just somewhat very obvious. I'm also rather surprised to see so many spelling errors in the forum titles ,"favorite" for example. Yes, I am "one of those" who probably should have avoided Seminary and instead entered teaching college:-) (Frustrated English teacher here!)I am generally a "cup half full chap", and at this point not terribly impressed with the forum. Have to wait a bit I guess.

As for Medjugorje, it is not a pre-requisite on this forum to believe in Medjugorje, however yes, favorable mention is allowed and as long as the Church is investigating it and has not spoken against Medjugorje this favorable mention will continue...

No worries. You will find spelling mistakes no matter where you go but I think that alot of people don't like having their spelling mistakes pointed out to them every time. On the internet there are people all over the world. Some may not have English as a first language and so may very well have spelling mistakes as they try to post in English. It's not a big deal to us about proper spelling unless we are having a hard time understanding what they post. No one is perfect. .

Normally, I wouldn't post something like this publicly, however for the safety & protection of all our members I feel the need to let everyone know that I have banned fcgv (aka Fr. Chris G. Vaillencourt) from this forum for posing as a priest. If anyone has been in contact with him please know that while there does appear to be a legitimate Fr. Chris Vaillencourt all indications are that the man who joined this forum under that name is not who he claimed to be.. The local diocese has been notified and is investigating this matter.. this man is not to be trusted and has posed as someone who he is not... Please be cautious if you've been in contact with him...
God bless, John
